The Xmas Marble Race was an event held in Hailfern after Marble League 2022 on 24th December 2022. All 32 active Marble League teams competed in the race. Performances from a marble choir interspersed the race. The race was the final event of the 2022 Marble Sports season.

Rules

The Xmas Marble Race is held on an obstacle course in Hailfern. In each heat, 1 marble from each of 8 teams travels down the course. The first 4 marbles to cross the finish line advance to the next round. Teams that are eliminated before the final are ranked by their losing round time.

Trivia

• There were no captains eliminated in the Semifinals.
• Both winners of the semifinals made the overall podium.
• This was the first time where the Solar Flares and Wolfpack went head-to-head with the Savage Speeders.
  • By extension, they remained as the only teams who maintained an unbeaten record against them, with both Scorch and Balto beating Swifty in the heats and semifinals respectively. These would both eventually be abolished in 2023 for the Wolfpack, and 2024 for the Flares.
