• Their name means "wasp" in Italian.
  • It is also the genus of real-world hornets.
• Vespa was one of two marbles to score no points in Marbula One's first season. The other was Mary from Team Primary.
• They are the only individual marble from the Hornets to earn a medal in any competitions.
