Triathlon is an event featured in the Marble League. The event is a race featuring three sections: track, sand, and underwater.
Rules[]
In the Triathlon, the teams race down a course existing out of three sections: a sand rally section, a section on gray "racing track" (made of the same track used in Marbula One), and an underwater section. Each heat contains four teams. The best two teams from each heat advance to the semi-finals and the best two of each semi-final go to the final.
In Marble League 2019, the triathlon was planned to make its debut, but because of dirty water, along with a fluctuating water level and strong current, the water section was removed altogether, and the event was renamed Summer Biathlon. It was held outdoors and the order of the sections was: track, sand.
In Marble League 2020, the event made it's proper debut as a triathlon. It was held indoors and the order of the sections was: sand, track, underwater.
In Marble League 2021, the triathlon returned. It was held indoors and the order of the sections was: track, sand, underwater.
In Marble League 2022, the triathlon was held outside, and featured a heat-of-8 format similar to previous iterations of Sand Rallies, such as in Marble League 2017. The order of the sections was: track, sand, underwater.
In Marble League 2023, event returned to be indoors, with the same arrangement as 2021 with track, sand, then water, The track section featured the "bee dance" portion from the Bumblebees' Marbula One track, Honeydome.
