Team Momo are a dark green, blue, and yellow team introduced in Marble League 2016. The members of the team are Mo, Momo, Momomo, Momomomo and Mimo. The team have qualified for every Marble League so far except Marble League 2019.
As one of the most beloved teams in the Marble League, the team comes from the mountainous region of Om, and the team name itself was named after the dumplings they had in Temple of Om, they competed in Ramen Bowl before participating in Marble League 2016. The team finished top-half in every Marble League they competed in except Marble League 2018, being in championship contention for most of the season in Marble League 2016 and Marble League 2021. Despite being scoreless in the first three Grands Prix in Marbula One Season 1, they managed to get back on track and finished 11th out of 16 teams and 5th out of 20 teams in Marbula One Season 2.
The team is infamous for having many injuries, with a total of three in Marble League 2017 and Marble League 2018. The team is also known for having the first reserve in Marble League history, Mimo, who replaced Momomomo as the latter got injured after colliding with Wispy from the Midnight Wisps at the Fidget Spinner Collision. As Momomo and Momomomo were injured at Bobsled in Marble League 2018, the team and Team Primary merged into Team Momary, the first ever merged team in Marble League. They're also infamous for burning out in Marble League 2021 after an incredible first half, finishing only 6th despite having a lead for more than twenty points at the halfway mark.

Mo, Momo, Momomo, Momomomo are the original members of Team Momo. Mimo joined the team in 2017 and since then stayed as the reserve member. Momomomo became team captain in 2019. Momo was announced to take the role of captain before Marble League 2021 Qualifiers, while Momomomo became a regular full-time team member.

Pre-Marble League[]
The four original members of Team Momo, Mo, Momo, Momomo, and Momomomo, all hail from villages around the city of Om, one of the oldest cities in the world. They first met in 2011 at the Temple of Om, one of the most popular restaurants in the city, where they talked about their passion for marble sports over a plate of dumplings. They ordered so many dumplings that the restaurant ran out. A few days later, they decided to form a marble sports team named Team Momo, named after the dumplings they had eaten. The team also first met Prim and Mary around this time as they were part of the team restoring the Om Temple.[3]
The four began training and, in 2012, they started to compete in the Ramen Bowl, a marble sports competition held in downtown Om. Within the year, they had made it to the championship league and, in 2013, they won their first Golden Noodle. They won a Bronze Noodle in 2014 and another Golden Noodle in 2015. Due to their repeated success in the Ramen Bowl, Team Momo were invited to take part in Marble League 2016, and they accepted without hesitation.[1]

Team Momo started off well in Marble League 2016, winning a bronze medal in the competition's first ever event, Balancing. They went on to win two more bronze medals in the Long Jump and the High Jump. This was followed by their first gold medal in Precision Slalom. The team performed well enough in the other events to end in fourth place overall, which was enough for them to automatically qualify for Marble League 2017. Due to their unique name and early success, Team Momo had become one of the most popular teams in the competition.[1]

Where 2016 was perhaps one of the best years Team Momo could have hoped for, Marble League 2017 brought one of the most difficult years Team Momo could have imagined. The team did relatively well early on, with Momomo finishing fifth in the Funnel Race. Unfortunately, Mo couldn't keep this up and came in last in the Long Jump. As a result, the team dropped to twelfth in the standings.

However, the worst moment for Team Momo in the season occurred in the very next event, the infamous Fidget Spinner Collision. During one of the team's group stage matches, Momomomo suffered a debilitating injury when they were flung into Wispy of the Midnight Wisps by a fidget spinner, and a chunk of their glass broke apart from them. The team immediately withdrew from the rest of the event as they cared for Momomomo, getting 0 points in this event. They also fell to 13th overall, and remained there after the next two events.

Momomomo was unable to compete for the rest of Marble League 2017 as a result of their injury, but thankfully Team Momo had a new team member who would replace them: Mimo. Mimo made history by becoming the first alternate to ever compete in the Marble League. Mimo was one of the best-performing athletes in the individual division of the Ramen Bowl, and their recruitment gave Team Momo the much-needed motivation to continue.
In the Relay Run, Mimo's first event in the Marble League, Team Momo obtained their first medal of the season, a silver. Meanwhile, Momomomo returned to the stands to watch the team. The team got a second silver medal in Block Pushing, followed by a bronze medal for Mimo in the High Jump. The three consecutive medals put them into fifth overall. Despite their run of medals, the team had a mediocre performance in the final four events, and dropped to ninth place overall by the end of the final event.
During the 2017 off-season, Team Momo received many donations from across the marblebase, including the Midnight Wisps, to fulfill the payments for the medical care necessary for Momomomo's recovery. The team regularly checked in on them while they trained with Mimo. The team also received complaints about their new logo, which fans claimed reminded them of a smelly green trash bag.[1]
2018[]
Team Momo appeared in the Marble League 2018 Qualifiers, where they were seeded in Group B. Momomomo had fully recovered from their injury, much to the fans' delight after a nearly silent off-season from the team. With two top three finishes throughout the Qualifiers, they scored twenty points, just enough to qualify for their appearance in Marble League 2018.

However, like the 2017 season, this season proved difficult for Team Momo. The team placed in thirteenth in the first two events, and were dead last overall after the second event. The team wished to get themselves back to form, but the worst of their times was about to come in the next event, the Bobsled. Team Momo got stuck on the bobsled track in their first run. It was later revealed that Momomo had altitude sickness, and could not restart with the team. They were replaced by Mimo in the heat restart. After the restart, Momomomo was knocked into a corner while on the bobsled for the second time, and remained incapacitated for the rest of the run. The team finished the event in twelfth. Doctors quickly assisted Momomo and Momomomo, and concluded they were unfit to compete further in Marble League 2018.
The merger of Team Momo and Team Primary to form Team Momary
When Team Momo heard about this, they reached out to several teams, including the Green Gang, one of the Hubelino Tournament competitors. Ultimately, the team ended up merging with their friends from Team Primary to form Team Momary. This was the first team merger in Marble League history. This caused controversy in the marblebase (especially among fans of the Balls of Chaos), for Team Primary had failed to qualify, but the IMC approved the merger anyway. Team Momo would thus compete under the name of Team Momary, consisting of Mo, Momo, Prim and Mary, as well as Mimo, for the rest of the season.

After the merger, Team Momary had two mediocre finishes and dropped to last in the standings at the halfway point with just 26 points. They saw a much-desired gold medal in the Snow Rally, where Momo narrowly beat Whizzy of the Savage Speeders, in a tiebreaker taking the team out of last place to twelfth overall. The team also got a silver medal in Curling, which finally put the team back into the top ten of the standings overall. However, the team struggled in the other events and finished in twelfth at the conclusion of the season.
After the games, Team Momary amicably split up back into Team Momo and Team Primary. Team Momo also took part in two off-season events, the 100 Meter Water Race, where Mimo had a convincing performance by finishing ninth, and the Amazing Maze Marble Race, with Momomo and Momomomo returning to compete in the latter. The team reached the semifinals of the Maze race, showing that they both had recovered from their injuries.[1] The Midnight Wisps invited the team to visit Helarve after their victory tour but the timings didn't work out.[3]
2019[]
Unfortunately, despite the newfound confidence from their strong performances in those two events, Team Momo failed to qualify for Marble League 2019. Momomomo started off the Marble League 2019 Qualifiers with an eighth place finish in the Funnel Race. The team couldn't keep their momentum and finished in 14th, eleven points away from qualifying.
Team Momo started their extended offseason by going on vacation around the world, which they had not been able to do since 2015. During their tour, they got to visit the Midnight Wisps in Helarve. They then visited the Raspberry Racers in Tumbletown after sending funds to Raspberry Racers fans who were injured in the fight that occurred during the Marble League 2019 Qualifiers.[3] While they were visiting Prim and Mary in Van Gotterdam, the Marble League Showdown was announced. The team quickly returned to Om to start training. The fans had mixed opinions about the team's chances of doing well. Many expected the team to have one member get injured again, if not coming within the dreaded bottom four at the end, which bothered the team.

Team Momo had a strong start to the Showdown, with Momomomo coming in fourth in the Sand Rally, but they then experienced a downturn, finishing seventh in Collision, followed by an eleventh-place finish in the Funnel Race, putting the team into ninth overall. Using their experience from Marble League 2016, the team succeeded in turning things around with a fourth place finish in the final event, Balancing, jumping to sixth overall, and securing their place in the Marble League 2020 Qualifiers.
Team Momo went to Temple of Om to celebrate their most recent success. During dinner, coach Momomomomo revealed to the team that they had been invited to take part in Marbula One Season 1. The team accepted the invitation without hesitation and had Momo “Winning Dumpling” and Mimo “The First Reserve” represent them.[1]

Marbula One Season 1[]
Mimo starting on pole at the Razzway GP
Team Momo had been selected to host the third Grand Prix at their track, the Momotorway. The team wanted to have a fresh start, proving they were worthy to compete and had moved past their injuries. The team got off to a good start as Momo qualified third in the Savage Speedway GP, but they slipped to 12th and earned no points. They didn't score points in the next two Grands Prix either, including Momo's horrific performance at their home course, placing dead last. As a result the team sat at the bottom of the leaderboard. Things started to turn around as they scored points with a ninth place finish at the Hivedrive GP despite qualifying in last. The team managed to make a comeback, getting points in every remaining Grand Prix and scored a total of 37 points in the second half, including a bronze by Mimo at the Razzway GP. Ultimately, Team Momo finished mid-table in Marbula One in 11th place, with Mimo doing better than Momo in the individual standings, finishing 16th and 22nd out of 32 contestants respectively.
The team returned to Om and were welcomed by cheering from the crowds that came to meet them. Despite the warm welcome, Coach Momomomomo was unsatisfied, with the performance and got the team back into training after a week's break. Momo and Mimo stayed in Om, exploring the outskirts of the city, Momomomo traveled to the Himarblelayas to go rock climbing to prepare for tougher events, and Mo and Momomo explored the city together, competing in mini sprints to get into the competitive mindset and to let off steam.
The following week, Mimo received a letter from Dragon's Egg, a marble Mimo had known from their days competing in the Individual Division of the Ramen Bowl. Dragon's Egg invited Mimo and the rest of the team to oversee the 2020 Ramen Bowl, taking their place on the advisory board while they competed in Marble Rally Season 5. Coach Momomomomo agreed to let those not competing in Marbula One Season 2 to go to the Ramen Bowl.[1]
Marble League 2020[]
Team Momo entered the Marble League 2020 Qualifiers with muted fanfare as fans were not expecting much from a team that failed to qualify and failed to medal in the Showdown. Team Momo started with a 19th in Balancing. They were redeemed by Mo who came first in Funnel Endurance, jumping the team to sixth overall. Then they got two bottom half finishes, including a last place finish in Block Pushing after a redo due to the starting flag falling on top of Mo. Despite this, their Funnel Endurance gold led them to just qualify on the bubble in 11th with 35 points. The team qualified in a tiebreaker on best finish in a four-way-tie with the Bumblebees, Team Primary and the Jungle Jumpers, with the Bumblebees getting the final spot and the latter two failing to qualify. Despite their celebrations of returning to the League, the team spent some time consoling Team Primary, especially Mary, after they once again failed to qualify.
The team started off Marble League 2020 with two sixth-place-finishes, placing sixth overall after two events. Mo finished last in the next event, Funnel Endurance. This was followed by three mid-pack finishes, putting the team in 11th after six events. The team decided to let Mimo replace Momomomo in Block Pushing, and the team was able to turn the tables around by pushing the best score of all teams in Push 2, which put them five-hundredths above the O'rangers to win silver once again. This was then followed by Momo's silver in the Triathlon. The two consecutive silvers jumped the team back to sixth in the standings at the halfway point. The second half of the competition turned out to be more mediocre finishes as the team failed to get any medals, but Mimo's tenth-place finish in the Marble Marathon was enough to overtake the Raspberry Racers, finishing the tournament in eighth.
The team returned to Om on the scenic train, taking them through Herbotamia and the Himarblelayas. The team decided to have a brief stay in the mountains, going on a retreat to the village of of Momili to hike, ski, and drink hot chocolate. After returning to Om, Team Momo returned to the Temple of Om. They spoke to the manager Memo, the oldest of Mimo's eleven siblings, and asked if they would be interested in becoming the team's manager which they accepted. Memo joined Team Momo at the Momotorway the next day to discuss plans for the team. To remain transparent with the fans, they live-streamed to meeting on Mooz. The meeting led to the broadening of Team Momo's influence around Marblearth, including the launch of the Momo's Dumplings brand, in collaboration with Temple of Om.
A few days later, Team Momo received an invitation to participate in Marbula One Season 2. They accepted, and once again Momo and Mimo were chosen to race for them. As a result, Mo, Momomo and Momomomo went on to officiate the 2020 Ramen Bowl with Dragon's Egg. In the end the Spring Onions won, the Efficient Eggs took second and the Ramen Runners rounded out the podium.[1]
Marbula One Season 2[]

The season started off with a promising performance at the Minty Mania GP where Momo came from behind to finish second. Furthermore, they set the fastest lap of the race. Mimo did even better at the O'raceway GP. Having qualified in 14th, they had a brilliant start and took the lead from lap 2 to the end of the race, securing the team's first ever Marbula One victory and putting them in first overall. At the Honeydome GP, they had another poor qualifying, as Momo set a lap time only good enough for 16th, barely qualifying for the race. In said race, however, they were able to catch up and even took the lead after just a few laps. They dropped some spots in the last few laps and finished the race in fifth, dropping to second overall behind the Crazy Cat's Eyes.
At the Aquamaring GP, Mimo qualified in eighth, the best so far that season. However, they crumbled in the main race, getting no points, while Red Eye from the Crazy Cat's Eyes dominated the race and got 26 points, extending the lead to 30 points. Momo was able to finish sixth at the Tumult Turnpike GP. This was followed by a sixteenth-place finish at the Arctic Circuit GP. Halfway through Season 2, Team Momo were sitting in third, ten points behind the second-placed Green Ducks and 34 points behind the leading Crazy Cat's Eyes.[1]

Marble League Winter Special[]

During the winter break of Marbula One, Team Momo were invited to take part in the Marble League Winter Special, which they accepted. Mimo was hesitant as they though circuit training would be a better use of their time. They agreed that Mimo would only compete in the final event and would spend the rest of the time training. Coach Momomomomo wanted to send out Momomo, Mo and Momomomo for the individual events so Momo could rest, but Momo wanted to remain active during the Marbula One break. Momomo was not confident being their first representative so Momo was selected for Event 1.
The Winter Special started off with a promising performance, as Momo won a bronze medal in the Ice Dash. However, this was followed up by a bottom half result from Mo, who finished 11th in the Snowboard Cross, sending them down to seventh overall. There was a silver lining at Speed Skating, where the team's captain Momomomo finished fifth, putting the team into fifth overall. Unfortunately, while preparing for the Bobsled event, Momomo would once again suffer from altitude sickness, forcing Coach Momomomomo to put in Mimo, losing valuable Marbula One practice time. It worked out fine with Team Momo finishing fifth for the second event in a row, dropping them to sixth overall. However, due to a 14th place in the final event, Ice Hockey, Team Momo finished the competition mid-table in ninth overall.[1]
Marbula One Season 2[]

Team Momo's inconsistency from the end of the first half once again came back to haunt them as Momo did not qualify at the Raceforest GP, dropping the team to fourth overall. Momo admitted that Coach Momomomomo had been correct about focusing on training rather than competing in the Marble League Winter Special. Mimo barely qualified for their home Grand Prix at the Momotorway GP, but they managed to make up ground and finished seventh. Then came two mid-pack finishes at the Palette Park GP and the Misty Mountain GP, the latter of which Mimo only finished mid-pack despite being in second before the restart. As a result the team dropped to fifth overall. Then came a thirteenth-place finish at the Savage Speedway GP which dropped the team to seventh with one Grand Prix to go. Mimo recovered with a fourth place at the Midnight Bay GP, which was enough for the team to rise to fifth overall. Despite their mid-season struggles, Team Momo had their best finish in any tournament since Marble League 2016, with both marbles finishing top twelve in the individual championship, which was a better season for both marbles compared to the previous season.
The team returned to Om and spent the rest of the offseason training, cooking and eating dumplings, and watching Marble Rally Season 5, cheering for their friend Dragon's Egg. Also during the off-season, Momomomo was able to finish third in the Marble League 2021 Practice Race.[1]
Marble League 2021[]
Shortly before the Marble League 2021 Qualifiers, it was announced that Momo would be taking over Momomomo's role as team captain. Team Momo was seeded into Group A in the Marble League 2021 Qualifiers. The team started off with two mid-pack finishes, placing sixth overall after two events. This was followed by a second place finish in the 5 Meter Relay which jumped them to second. However, they once again just barely qualified for Marble League 2021, making it in the final qualifying spot by two points over the Jungle Jumpers and the Midnight Wisps after an 11th place finish in the Sand Rally.

Despite opening Marble League 2021 with an 11th place in the Swing Wave, the team followed this up with a fourth in Balancing and jumped to eighth in the standings. An unexpected silver medal in the 5 Meter Sprint jumped the team up into the lead out of nowhere. A fifth-place finish in the next event, Funnel Endurance, dropped them to second overall, but they responded by getting three consecutive medals: a team silver in the 5 Meter Relay, a bronze in Jousting and Momomomo's gold in the 5 Meter Hurdles. After seven events, the team lead the standings with an astounding 108 points and four medals, 27 points ahead of the Raspberry Racers in second place.
However, the team's momentum dried up during the second half of the season as they finished bottom half in three consecutive events before a seventh-place-finish in the Sand Mogul Race, barely holding the lead in the standings. Then came five consecutive bottom half finishes, including two consecutive last-place-finishes in the Elimination Race and the Sand Rally, plummeting them from first to sixth in just three events. The team only scored only 41 points in the last nine events and finished sixth due to losing the tiebreaker to the Hazers and the Crazy Cat's Eyes in a three-way-tie. Despite their second-half collapse, this was Team Momo's best Marble League finish since Marble League 2016.
During the offseason, Team Momo spent a lot of time training at their retreat in Momili. Memo remained in Om and made sure some of the team's finances went towards keeping the Ramen Bowl running.[4]
2022[]
Marbula One Season 3[]
After their decent performances in Marbula One Season 2 and Marble League 2021, Team Momo received an invitation to compete in Marbula One Season 3. Once again, they accepted, retaining Momo and Mimo as their racers.

Momo qualified second at the Tumult Turnpike GP, earning two additional points. In the main race, Momo was able to briefly hold the lead on lap 1, but dropped all the way to 15th at the end of lap 6. Momo eventually finished in ninth. Mimo qualified sixth and finished eighth at the Sleet Street GP. Then came two mid-pack finishes at the Misty Mountain GP and the O'raceway GP. Mimo could only finish in 12th at the Mellow Meadows GP. Momo then qualified third at the Honeydome GP, but got off to a disastrous start and dropped to 19th at the second lap. Momo was able to recover and finish in ninth. At the halfway point, the team sat in sixth overall with 52 points, with Momo and Mimo mid-pack in the individual standings. The team was one of the only two teams that scored points in every Grand Prix in the first half, along with the Gliding Glaciers.
As the mid-season break came to a close, Mimo headed to the team's home track for the next race, the Momotorway Grand Prix. Despite qualifying in 12th, they made a slight recovery in the race to finish 8th, keeping the team in 6th overall. Unfortunately, the next three races only resulted in 11 points for the team, including a 16th place at the Electron Expressway Grand Prix for Momo after a qualification of 2nd. Team Momo had fallen down to 10th. In the Midnight Bay Grand Prix, Mimo was able to climb into the top 2 by lap 5, fighting for the lead with Iceberg of the Gliding Glaciers which they usurped briefly for lap 7 before falling back to second. They stayed their before making a last minute lunge on Iceberg coming out of the tunnel on the final lap to claim the lead and winning the race. This result lifted the team up three spots into 7th, unable to win the championship but still able to podium. However, Momo couldn't accomplish anything in the final race at the Mirage Meowntain Grand Prix, finishing 16th and ending Team Momo's streak of gaining points in every race. Fortunately, they stayed in 7th overall, five points above the 8th place Shining Swarm while Mimo and Momo placed 8th and 27th in the respectively in the individual standings.
Marble League 2022[]
For the Marble League 2022 Qualifiers, Team Momo were sorted into Group B after facing off the Chocolatiers in the Draw. They got off to a promising start, with Momomo and Mo coming fifth in Climbing. Things, however, went downhill from there as Momomomo set a horrible time for the 5 Meter Hurdles to place dead last. This sent the team down to 11th overall. The team ranked seventh in Balancing while another twelfth came for Momo in the Triathlon. Team Momo finished in 10th, making it the first time they would miss the League since 2019.
Team Momo returned for the Marble League 2022 Showdown. After a slow start in the Swing Wave, Momomo broke the Marble League Record in the heats of the 5 Meter Sprint by a hundredth of a second and later went on to finish third. They lost their momentum though as Mimo DNF'd alongside the Kobalts' Azure in the Water Race to receive 2 points. The 5 Meter Relay didn't go much better as the team could only manage eleventh. They were sitting in 12th with a high chance at getting relegated which would be disastrous to the team.
Luckily, they turned it all around in Block Pushing by claiming the gold medal, being the only team with two pushes above 90 cm, skyrocketing up to 5th in the standings. They coontinued to upward trend with Mo placing sixth in Funnel Endurance after winning their heat. Another bronze followed in Climbing for Momomomo and Momo and suddenly, Team Momo found themselves in 4th with a high chance at making the podium. With Momomomo grabbing seventh for the Sand Rally coupled with Crush from the Turtle Sliders only finishing 13th, Team Momo snuck onto the overall podium just three points above 4th and as proud bronze medallists of the 2022 Showdown.
The offseason brought the opportunity for Team Momo to compete in the Xmas Marble Race. Being an individual event, the team sent in Momomomo, however they got a DNF in their heat. They finished 31st out of 32, beating Skip of the Jungle Jumpers by stopping closer to the finish line.
2023[]
Marbula One Season 4[]
The team returned once more to Marbula One Season 4 with their trusty two racers from previous seasons, Momo and Mimo, representing them.
Momo was chosen for the Razzway Grand Prix where they snatched the first Pole Position of the season. In the race, they got fastest lap on just the second lap which no one could improve on to increase their lead. To their demise, they couldn't hold it up ended in the bottom step of the podium to start the season in third.

- Team Momo's name originates from the Tibetian word for dumpling.
- With three injuries total, Team Momo currently has the most injuries out of any team in the Marble League.
- Team Momo is also the only team thus far to have injuries.
- Team Momo was the first team in Marble League history to have a reserve, on account of Momomomo's injury in the 2017 season. They were the only team to introduce their reserve in 2017, as reserves were mandated the next year.[1]
- Team Momo is also the first team to merge with another team, forming Team Momary with Team Primary, due to Momomo and Momomomo's injuries in the 2018 season.[1]
- Despite numerous allegations, Team Momo and the Midnight Wisps do not have a rivalry because of Momomomo's injury during the match between the two teams in the Fidget Spinner Collision. In fact, the Midnight Wisps gave a generous sum of donation to help cover Momomomo's medical bills.[1]
- Team Momo faced backlash over its original logo by fans who thought that it resembled a smelly green trash bag. The team finally moved away from the logo in 2019.[1]
- After Momomo won silver in 5 Meter Sprint, the team became the fourth team team to have every athlete in the team win an individual medal.
- In Team Momo's announcement poster for Marbula One, Momo and Mimo are seen either sitting or rolling on top of a Temple of Om dumpling basket. This particular basket was designed to depict 'racing dumplings'.[1]
- The team is the second team to get three consecutive medals in a row.
- Among all the teams that got three consecutive medals in a row, Team Momo is the only team to have a season where they got no medals except the three consecutive medals.
- The team holds the lead for most events spent at first place in the standings in a single Marble League with 8 in Marble League 2021, along with the O'rangers who had 8 in Marble League 2020 as well.
