Tarantula is a now retired marble who competed in the Sand Marble Rally. Tarantula is a clear marble with many reddish brown stripes.

History

2016

Tarantula competed in Sand Marble Rally 2016, and, after surviving elimination, finished 12th overall. With two second place finishes and 121 points, Tarantula had quite a successful 2016. In Race 11, Tarantula was left on the course after a test run. Red Tarantula took their place, finishing in 17th. Tarantula was awarded four consolation points due to this.

2017

Tarantula did not finish in their qualifier for Sand Marble Rally 2017, and thus failed to qualify.

Tarantula retired from the Sand Marble Rally before the start of the 2018 season.

Trivia

• Tarantula is the only marble to get consolation points in the Sand Marble Rally.
  • This was because the "real Tarantula" was left on the course after a test run. They were replaced by a marble named "Red Tarantula."
    • The real Tarantula was dislodged during the race and finished ahead of Red Tarantula, but they were not classified.
