The fourth race of the 2017 Sand Marble Rally was held in Klimduin Brechtdorp. The track was the same as in race 3; a sprint course.

Race

Report

The race was won by Red Number 3, who got past leader Lollipop who bumped against the Rotating Chevron Sign at the end of the course. Black Knight and H2 Blue also got past Lollipop who ended finishing in fourth infront of El Capitan. Blizzard Blaster ended sixth, Slimer seventh, Fantasy eight, Crazy Cat's Eye ninth, Dragon's Egg tenth, Glassy eleventh and winner of the previous race Quicksilver ended in twelfth. Comet was the thriteenth to cross the finish line, infront of Nemo. Deep Ocean claimed the last spot, fifteenth place. There were 5 non-finishers: Summer Sky, Pollo Loco, Wisp of Darkness, Big Pearl and reigning champion Ghost Plasma who for the third time in a row couldn't finish the race in 2017.
