The twelfth race of 2017 was the penultimate round of the season. It was held in 't Peeske Montferland.

Before the Race

Before the start of the race it was announced that Race 13 will have double points on offer. This meant that the championship would be more open. It was done in a attempt to make the title decider more exciting.

Report

The race was won by El Capitan who was able to make a lunge into the lead and win in front of Slimer and Red Number 3. Dragon's Egg was able to come back after losing the lead by taking the low line midway through the race, finishing fourth ahead of Summer Sky. Nemo finished in a sixth. Glassy who was running in first when going onto the final big boulevard to the finish fell back to seventh ahead of Blizzard Blaster. H2 Blue beat Comet by one hundredth of a second and they got ninth and tenth respectively. Further back it was Deep Ocean in eleventh infront of Crazy Cat's Eye, Pollo Loco. Meanwhile championship leader Quicksilver came in fourteenth, in front of Lollipop, Big Pearl and Ghost Plasma. Wisp of Darkness came in eighteenth and Black Knight in nineteenth. Fantasy was the only marble who didn't finish.
