The first race of the 2017 Sand Marble Rally was held at het Doornse Gat.

Report

Crazy Cat's Eye won with H2 Blue finishing in second. Blizzard Blaster rounded up the podium. Black Knight finished fourth, Summer Sky finished fifth and Dragon's Egg sixth. Deep Ocean finished seventh which meant they scored their first ever career points after a pointless 2016 season. Lollipop finished eight, Red Number 3 ninth, Slimer tenth, El Capitan eleventh. Quicksilver finished twelfth, reigning champion Ghost Plasma thirteenth and Glassy fourteenth. Comet finished fifteenth to claim the last available point. Pollo Loco, Wisp of Darkness and Fantasy finished outside the top fifteen. Last year's runner-up Big Pearl didn't finish and neither did Nemo who led the race at the start.
