The Relay Run is an event featured in the Marble League that has been held many times over the years. During the event, all four team members must use teamwork to pass off to the team member next in line along the track. The first two teams that have their final member cross the finish line advance to the next stage.

The Savage Speeders currently have the most podiums, and are both top performers in this event.

Rules[]

The Relay Run is a team event in which athletes must reach the finish line as fast as possible. The event is set up in a heat structure, with four teams participating in a heat. The fastest two teams in each heat will advance to the semifinals, with the top two of each semifinal heat advancing to the final race, which consists of four teams.

Teams eliminated from the heats will be ranked 9th to 16th by their times. Teams from the semifinals will be ranked 5th to 8th by their times as well. Finally, the teams that make it to the final will be placed according to the order they finish in.

The track is five meters long, and is divided up into four lanes. Each team competing in that particular heat gets one lane. One marble out of a team is positioned at the starting gate, with subsequent team members being placed at equal distances throughout the track, stationed in that team's lane. The starting marbles must go when the gate opens, and pass off to the second marble. The second marble then passes off to the third marble, and so on. The final marble must complete the race by passing the finish line.
