Marbula One is a marble racing tournament. The name is a portmanteau of the word "marble" and Formula One, the latter of which serves as the direct inspiration for the tournament. Unlike other race events or tournaments, the races are lap-based.[1] Marble League Teams are chosen by the JMA to participate in it during the Marble League offseason.
The inaugural Marbula One season was originally slated to begin at the end of December 2019, but was delayed until the starting gate was out for delivery. The season began on 15 February 2020.
The second season commenced on 7 November 2020, the third season started on 25 March 2022, the fourth season began on 28 April 2023, and the fifth season started on 30 August 2024.
The Marbula One name is also used for the series F1 Predictions, being based more on the real-life Formula One, and the Marble Indy 500, which also featured Marble League competitors, both debuted in 2025. Those ran concurrently with the main Marbula One which is continued to be held towards the end of the year.

Points System[]
In Season 1, the points system was identical to the series from which Marbula One takes its inspiration, Formula One[1]. This included a bonus point (+1) awarded to the marble who completes the course with the fastest lap time. For Season 2, the points system was slightly modified, with points awarded to the top 12 finishers. Furthermore, pole position was also awarded with a bonus point, while the bonus point for the fastest lap time was retained. Season 3 saw another change in the scoring system, with points now awarded to the top 15 finishers. Bonus points were also awarded to the top three qualifiers, with the bonus point for the fastest lap time remaining untouched. Subsequent seasons have kept the same points system used since Season 3.
