The Marble Rally is an event featured in the Marble League that has been held many times over the years. The event requires athletes to traverse down a long and winding path, usually made of sand, but occasionally made of other terrain.

General[]
Similar to Sand Marble Rally races, the Marble Rally event consists of a set of 12 or 16 marbles racing down a terrain usually made of sand, but sometimes snow or an obstacle course. The first marble to cross the finish line wins.
In the inaugural Marble Rally events, the event was held as a two-heat elimination, where the competitors were broken into two heats, and the fastest half of each heat would move on to the final.
The Snow Rally event in Marble League 2018 was also two heats, however the rules became points-based. Marbles would earn "Snow Points" based on their final placement in each heat: 16 for the heat winner, 15 for the runner-up, 14 for the third place, and so on, until finally 1 for the last place. DNFs would grant no points. The marble with the most Snow Points after two races would be declared the winner.
The rules were changed once more in Marble League 2019, with the event becoming a single-race event instead of the previous two-heat events.
