The second event of Marble League 2023 was held on the 19th October 2023, featuring the second event, the Steeplechase.

In the Steeplechase, 4 marbles from each team must traverse an outdoor sand track with barriers they must jump over. The objective is to cross the finish line in the fastest possible time, without knocking over any of the mikado sticks perched on the barriers. Teams receive 1 penalty per stick knocked over/DNF. A team's final score is the sum of their fastest 2 times, plus 1 second per penalty. If a majority of a team's marbles fail to finish, the team is not given a score. The team with the lowest score wins.

ⅠAn error in the timing occurred in the Gliding Glaciers run when the times of the second and third marbles were counted, rather than the first and second. The corrected timings are shown here.[1]
ⅡOriginally, three sticks were knocked down, but after investigation, a stick from the 5th set of barriers was blown by the wind and only 2 sticks were counted.
