The first event of Marble League 2023 was held on the 17th October 2023, not only featuring the first event, the Honeycomb Team Pursuit, but also the Opening Ceremony.
The hosts, the Bumblebees, then entered the stadium, presenting themselves to their fans before being handed the Marble League torch. Afterwards, the other qualified teams presented themselves.
Jelle and Dion then carried the Marble League Trophy up the stairs, followed by Queen Beetrix and the JMA. The Bumblebees then ascended the stairs, carrying the Marble League torch to the top of the stadium where the flame was lit, signifying the official start to Marble League 2023.

The Honeycomb Team Pursuit is an enlarged version of the Gravitrax Slalom featured in 2019. 4 teams of 4 marbles each race down identical tracks made out of Gravitrax pieces. A team's timer stops when 3 of their marbles finish the course. The 2 teams with the fastest times (after penalties, see below) advance to the next round.
If exactly 1 marble from a team fails to complete the course, 1 penalty second is added to the team's time in the round. 2 or more marbles failing to finish results in disqualification.
After this event's conclusion, the Savage Speeders officially hit 1,000 overall carreer points in the Marble League.
This is the first time a disqualification appears at the very first event of a Marble League tournament, with Snowdrift and Snowfall from Snowballs leaving the track in Heats.
