The sixteenth and final event of Marble League 2022 was held on the 21st December 2022, not only featuring the sixteenth event, the Elimination Race, but also the Closing Ceremony.

Event

In the Elimination Race, 16 marbles race down a track constructed with Gravitrax pieces. The last marble to cross the finish line is eliminated from the event. If at least one marble stops moving, the one stranded closest to the starting line is eliminated, sparing the last marble to finish. The remaining marbles compete in another round with the same rules, and the process is repeated until only 1 marble remains, who is then declared the winner of the event.

Closing Ceremony

The Closing Ceremony began with Jelle and Dion Bakker entering The Pond and carrying the Marble League Trophy to the front of the final podium alongside the JMA and Skipper. Then, the teams ranked 4th to 16th made their way in front of the podium, beginning with the Balls of Chaos (16th), and continuing in ascending order up to the Savage Speeders (4th). The top 3 teams were then brought up onto the podium, starting with Team Galactic (3rd), followed by the Shining Swarm (2nd), and finally the Marble League Champions, the Pinkies (1st). Skipper presented the members of each podium team with a medal before Jelle and Dion presented the Marble League Trophy to the Pinkies. Skipper then brought Mallard, the most valuable marble of the season, onto the podium. Gold glitter then fell from above onto the podium. The Pinkies then brought their trophy in front of their fans to celebrate. A marble display of the Marble League logo was presented before it avalanched down a slope into a row of dominoes. The dominoes fell down leading to the extinguishing of the Marble League flame. After the credits rolled and the final standings were shown, the leaderboard faded to white, leaving behind just the Bumblebees' marble, revealing them as the hosts of Marble League 2023.

Trivia

• With 64 points across the entire season, the Balls of Chaos have set a new anti-record for the fewest points scored in a 16-event Marble League. This lowers the mark set by the Oceanics 3 years prior (70).
• This is the 100th event in Marble League history.
