The fifth event of Marble League 2021 was held on the 30th July 2021, featuring the fifth event, the 5 Meter Relay.

The 5 Meter Relay was similar to previous versions of the Relay Run. One marble from each team rolls down part of the track as quickly as they can. They then collide with the next marble on their team, setting them off to complete their part of the race. The fourth marble on the team completes the final part of the race. The first two marbles to cross the finish line advance to the next round.

- Having placed 5th in this event, the Thunderbolts have broken the active record for most consecutive events without a gold medal (45). In doing so, they have usurped the 44-event streak held by Team Galactic.
- The Shining Swarm's bronze in this event ended their streak of not getting a medal for 4 years. Their most recent medal was 1,483 days ago, in the 2017 Fidget Spinner Collision event.
