The second event of Marble League 2020 was held on the 28th June 2020, featuring the second event, Halfpipe.

Event

In the Halfpipe event, 4 marbles from 2 teams roll down a chute onto the halfpipe and try to stay rolling for as long as possible while slowly making their way towards the bottom of the halfpipe. The time for the slowest 3 marbles across the line are added together to give the team their score. The results from each heat are combined and the slowest team across the finish line wins. If there is a tie, the team's slowest marble's time will be used to break the tie. Each team has two attempts and the total of both runs is their final result.

Trivia

• The Marble League record for Halfpipe was broken twice during the first run. The Minty Maniacs reached 33.75 seconds, improving the record set by the Balls of Chaos in Marble League 2018 by more than 4 seconds. Then this was topped by the O'rangers with a time of 34.49 seconds. All in all there have been 12 runs better than the old record (29.49) by ten different teams.
• After the event, $5,000 was donated to the Banco de Alimentos de Puerto Rico in the name of the O'rangers, the gold medalists in the event.
• The Oceanics last place finish moved them into a tie with the Jawbreakers from 2016-17 for second most consecutive Marble League events without a medal (21).
