The sixteenth and final event of Marble League 2020 was held on the 16th August 2020, not only featuring the sixteenth event, Marble Marathon, but also the Closing Ceremony.
Entering the final event of 2020, three teams could still win the Marble League. The 2016 champions, the Savage Speeders, the 2017 champions, the O'rangers and the 2018 champions, the Midnight Wisps. This meant that for the first time there would be a repeat champion in the Marble League.

In the Marathon, one marble from each team rolls down a gray ''racing track'' just like in Marbula One. The race is run on a short circuit known as the Stardust Accelerator. The marble who finishes first after 33 laps wins the race. To determine the starting grid for the main event, the marbles first participated in a shortened 5-lap run, with the grid arranged in reverse championship order.

15 of the 16 marbles completed the race, with Red Eye getting stuck on Lap 1, and finishing a lap behind. They would start 5th as consolation for this error.

Closing Ceremony[]
The Closing Ceremony commenced with the JMR Staff members, John Rolliver, and King Stardust descending from the VIP stand and taking their places in front of the podium. Stardust and Rolliver brought with them the Marble League Trophy, and placed it in front of the podium. The JMRC then took their places in a specially designated red area, just behind a sign bearing the words "Marble League 2020". Then, the bottom 13 teams took their places in front of the sign, starting with the 16th-placed Hornets on the far right and ending with the 4th-placed Midnight Wisps on the far left. The top 3 teams, the Minty Maniacs, the O'rangers, and finally the Savage Speeders all entered and took their places atop the final podium. Stardust handed the trophy to the Savage Speeders, as gold glitter fell from above. After the O'rangers and Savage Speeders formed a circle around the trophy in front of their respective fan sections in the audience as a gesture of goodwill and sportsmanship, the two teams both returned to the podium off-screen. Coach Quickly proceeded to enter a Gravitrax setup which included several launchers and light-up dominoes. The last domino set off a K'nex contraption that extinguished the Marble League flame. After the credits rolled, the Crazy Cat's Eyes were revealed to be the hosts of Marble League 2021.

- After the event, $5,000 was donated to the West Seattle Food Bank in the name of the Minty Maniacs, the gold medalists in the event. $20,000 was also donated to the International Rescue Committee in the name of the Savage Speeders, the Marble League 2020 Champions.
- This was the first time that there was more than 1 former Marble League champion in contention for the Marble League in the final round.
- The 2020 Marble League is the first edition to have a repeat champion.
- With their final placements of 1st and 2nd overall, respectively, the Savage Speeders and the O'rangers have become the first two teams to qualify for their 6th consecutive Marble League.
- There is one production error in the video. In the final table Razzy is shown as racing for the Raspberry Racers. It was actually Rezzy, as seen in qualification.[1]
