Marble League 2019 Event 9: Hurdles Race

The ninth event of Marble League 2019 was held on the 17th May 2019. The event was the Hurdles Race.

The Hurdles Race returned to the Marble League but is slightly different to the Hurdles in 2017. This year there were 12 hurdles instead of 10.

Trivia Edit

• The Marble League record was broken twice in this event. The old record was set up by Swifty of the Savage Speeders in 2017 with a time of 8.692 seconds. It was first broken by Kinnowin of the O'rangers with a time of 8.679 seconds in Heat 4, but it was broken again by Wuspy of the Midnight Wisps with a time of 8.552 seconds in semifinal A.
• A streaker from the stands managed to get onto the course and roll down the course after the heats. He was chased by security guards, was caught at the finish line and was escorted out of the stadium. He was later banned from the stadium.
• Quasar from Team Galactic took part in this event, even though his teammate Starry had won the event two years previously. This was because she suffered from a minor internal injury during Event 7, Block Pushing.^[1]
