The fifth event of Marble League 2018 was held on the 23rd of February 2018. The event was Speed Skating.

Event

Two marbles from different teams take part in each heat. The 20 metre oval track is split into an upper lane and a lower lane with one marble on each lane. The marble has to get to the end of the track as quickly as possible. The marble's time determines their finishing position.

Trivia

• This is the first event in which Team Momary (a merger between Team Momo and Team Primary) competed in. The merger happened due to Momomo suffering from altitude sickness and Momomomo getting a head injury in the previous event. Mimo came in to replace Momomo, but after Momomomo's injury they needed some more team members. Prim and Mary from Team Primary joined the team to form Team Momary.
• Rapidly from the Savage Speeders tied the previous Marble League record of 30.57 seconds. This was then beaten by Misty from the Hazers with a time of 30.34 seconds.
• There were two delays in this event due to editing issues. It was originally scheduled for 21 February and 22 February until it was finally released on 23 February.
