The ninth event of Marble League 2017 was held on the 9th of August 2017. The event was the Steeplechase.

Event

In the Steeplechase, 4 marbles from each team must traverse an outdoor sand track with barriers they must jump over. The objective is to cross the finish line in the fastest possible time, without knocking over any of the mikado sticks on the barriers. Teams receive 1 penalty per stick knocked over/DNF. A team's final result is the sum of their fastest 3 times, plus 1 second per penalty. The team with the lowest result wins.
