The seventh event of Marble League 2016 was held on the 21st of August 2016. The event was the High Jump.

Event

In each round, one marble from each team rolls down a steep track onto a ramp and then attempts to jump over a bar. If they clear the jump they move onto the next round. If they hit the bar or pass underneath it then they are eliminated. The last marble to be eliminated is the winner.

Tiebreakers were decided using video analysis to see which marble had the highest jump.

Note: Disqualifications are awarded 0 points. Any teams that were given consolation points were given two consolation points. In Event 2, the Snowballs were awarded 14 points, two for their 4th place finish and two consolation points. There are disagreements about numbers of points for disqualifications and consolation points and the Snowballs' Event 2 finish. This is one way of converting the ML16 results which was chosen after discussions between community members, there are other valid methods.
