Kinnowin is known for their consistency and flexibility, which enabled themseleves do well in all kinds of events, either in speed events or endurance events. They are also known for its' great leadership as they lead the team to great finishes in all kinds of different tournaments.
History[]
Pre-Marble League[]
The O'rangers are a team of five siblings. The five come from the O'Marbles family, who run an orange farm close to the city of Orlango, and also specialize in bull-wrangling and off-road racing. Mandarin, the current patriarch of the family, founded the O'rangers with their siblings Clementin, Kinnowin, Tangerin, and Orangin in 2006, and participated in local competitions.
Over the first two years of competing, the O'rangers performed well enough to be noticed by Greg Woods, owner of the Fruit Circuit. In 2008, Woods visited the O'Marbles farm to verify that the O'rangers are a fruit-based team before inviting them to join the Fruit Circuit. The team accepted, and went on to compete in the Fruit Circuit for eight years before it shut down in 2016 due to the rise of the Marble League. In the final year of the Fruit Circuit, the O'rangers managed to earn enough points in the final race to beat the Raspberry Racers for the third spot. The team, along with the Limers and Mellow Yellow, qualified for Marble League 2016.
2016[]
Kinnowin participated in Marble League 2016 with three other teammates. The team went to the first event, Balancing, under the names O1, O2, O3 and O4, coming in 9th. Kinnowin scored only 37. The four saw the seriousness of the competition and decided to reveal their true names before participating in the next event, Relay Race. In said event, they finished 15th, but got a consolation point because of a construction defect in their lane. The team earned their first points by finishing 5th in Event 3, Collision.
In Event 5, Long Jump, Kinnowin broke the pre-existing Marble League record by nearly 10 centimeters, winning the event and earning the O'rangers their first medal ever, a gold, and 10 points. They elevated to 7th in the standings. They did not win any medals in the remaining events, but still finished strong with four top half finishes in a row and jumped to 6th after Quartet Diving. Kinnowin was sent to participate in the final event, Hurdles. Kinnowin placed 2nd in Heat A and placed 3rd in Consolation Round, gaining 1 point. The 1 point is enough for the team to overtake Rojo Rollers and finish the season in 5th.
2017[]
The O'rangers participated in Marble League 2017 Qualifiers and placed top 8 in all four events, qualifying for Marble League 2017 in 3rd place.
They started the main competition in the upper half of the field, scoring two 7th places (including Kinnowin's 7th place finish in Funnel Race) and a 5th place finish in the first three events. Clementin earned the team a bronze medal in Event 5, Hurdles. The team had continued their training even during the Marble League, but they eventually decided to stop so they could conserve their energy. However, the O'rangers had a few shaky performances in the first half of the season. As of Event 6, Relay Run, the team had dropped to 9th in the overall standings. But the O'rangers would soon make up for it by breaking a Marble League record and earning themselves a gold medal in Event 7, Block Pushing, moving up five spots in the standings into 4th place.
This marked the start of the team's dominance in the remainder of the season as the O'rangers, boosted by the sheer energy of their fans who convinced them to keep pushing, proceeded to finish on the podium in three of the remaining five events. In Event 8, High Jump, Mandarin performed exceptionally, claiming a silver medal as they came in second behind Yellah of Mellow Yellow (who broke the Marble League record). The O'rangers were going high and were already 3rd before Underwater Race. Kinnowin managed to set up a new ML record with a score of 13.12 seconds in the semi-finals but lost to Wospy from the Midnight Wisps in the final, taking a silver, which means that they're now in second, 10 points behind Savage Speeders. Their teammate, Clementin got a silver in the final event, which was enough for O'rangers to win ML 2017.
2018[]
Orangin joined the team as the reserve in 2018. The year started with the Friendly Round. Kinnowin got last in the Ice Dash and the O'rangers came in third. Kinnowin participated in Ice Dash again in Marble League 2018 and managed to get 6th as the team emerged as the most consistent of all competing teams. In the first nine events, they only scored a bottom half finish once in Event 3, Halfpipe. Just like the previous year, the team used the strategy of conserving their energy. They eventually claimed their only medal of the season, a silver, in Event 10, Biathlon, taking them to 2nd place overall.
Unfortunately, the O'rangers could not keep it up in the final event, Sand Mogul Race. The team still had a chance of winning the League, but Kinnowin came in third in their heat and was thus eliminated. The team dropped to 4th overall at the end of Marble League 2018 and were nine points behind the Oceanics, seemingly missing out on pre-qualifying for Marble League 2019, despite their consistency throughout the season.
Kinnowin participated in Amazing Maze Marble Race alongside the team and Kinnowin managed to get 3rd in Group A and O'rangers qualified for the semi-final as they placed at the top of the second place standings. Kinnowin got 2nd in the semi-finals and was able to let the team move on to the final. In the final, Kinnowin again finished 2nd and their teammate Clementin got 1st, but poor showings from Tangerin caused them to finish 2nd in this tournament. Kinnowin is also the only athlete to get in top 3 in every heat. The team had put in a bid to host Marble League 2019, which they lost to the Oceanics. But this left open one pre-qualifying spot for the O'rangers to claim
2019[]
The O'rangers, along with their new coach Rango, arrived at the Seven Seas Stadium for the Friendly Round before Marble League 2019. They managed to win Block Pushing and Kinnowin was able to make a comeback and win Underwater Race, which resulted to O'rangers finishing 2nd in this Friendly Round. Kinnowin got eliminated in Group Stage in Underwater Race in a photo finish with Starry from Team Galactic and Lightning from Thunderbolts. They only got 14th in this event. The O'rangers followed this up with three middle of the pack finishes. However, in Event 6, Relay Run, the team earned a silver medal after beating the Pinkies in a tiebreaker race-off in the semifinals, moving the team up to 9th overall.
Despite their strong performances in the next three events, the team fell to eleventh. After Event 10, Hubelino Maze, the team rose back to ninth, but a streak of poor results followed. In Event 13, Elimination Race, Mandarin crashed out of their heat, making the team fall back to 11th. However, they did earn an extra two consolation points due to a track defect.Unfortunately, a disappointing eleventh place finish in Surfing confirmed the O'rangers would no longer be able to finish in the top three. Their win in Collision sent them in 7th before the final event, Sand Rally. Kinnowin lead for a good chunk of the race but only finished 4th, but it was enough for them to overtake Jungle Jumpers and finish in 6th.
2020[]
The O'rangers held their same five members approaching Marble League 2020, and entered the Marble League qualifiers for the first time since 2017. At the beginning, they did terrible as they were just hovering above the line between qualifying and not qualifying. However, their form picked back up and eventually finishing 8th in the Qualifiers. The O'rangers started Marble League 2020 with a 10th place finish in Balancing. However, a 3-event long winning streak, including Kinnowin's silver in Funnel Endurance, brought them to the top of the Marble League, surpassing the Minty Maniacs, who had the best start to a Marble League in history. The team slowed down just a bit in Long Jump which dropped them to 2nd, and Kinnowin's 6th place finish in 5 Meter Hurdles kept them in 2nd place. Two back-to back bronze medals sent them top of the Marble League, although a 12th place finish caused the O'rangers to drop to second with a 9 point gap between them and first place.
The team were able to get the lead again after Black Hole Funnel and the silver in Relay Run stayed them at the top. But the Savage Speeders are already 10 points behind. Mandarin was able to get the gold in High Jump with an exceptional record-breaking performance, extending the lead up to 35 points with only three events to go. However, a terrible 11th place finish in the Team Aquathlon, losing out to the Oceanics, whom was notorious for their poor performance in water events, followed up by an abysmal 16th place finish in Collision, saw them dropping to 2nd, 5 points behind the now-leaders and bitter rivals, Savage Speeders. In the last event, Kinnowin is unable to successfully to assert control in the Marathon event, and they lost out to the Savage Speeders by 7 points, finishing in 2nd.
2021[]
During the offseason time, the O'rangers were invited to participate in Marble League Winter Special and they accepted. They had a slow start. Clementin delivered a 9th place finish in the opening event, the Ice Dash, but then the captain Kinnowin also failed to impress and got 7th in Snowboard Cross, dropping the team to 10th in the standings. Orangin only got 11th in Speed Skating, dropping the team to only 11th with two events to go.In the Bobsled coming up next, O'rangers managed to break the record set by Gliding Glaciers three years ago. This is also the eighth record broken by the O'rangers. In the end the record-breaking score was enough for them to win the event, jumping to 4th with only one event to go. In the final event, O'rangers met Pinkies in the round of 16 and beat them in the round of 16, and bet championship contender Minty Maniacs in the quarter-finals, and became the only team able to overtake the leader, Oceanics only if they get gold in this event. However things did not work out and they were beaten by Raspberry Racers in the semi-final. They faced Team Galactic in the Third-place Round and won, getting 3rd place in this event, jumping into 2nd place in the standings.
