Jellime is a former member of the Limers. They are one of the four original members of the team, along with Lemonlime, Sublime and Slimelime. They only participated in Marble League 2016. They participated in a single individual event, the Long Jump, and finished out of the points in 9th place. The rest of the events they participated in were team events. They retired at the end of that year's Marble League.
History[]
Jellime comes from the Adriatic coast in southern Europe. Jellime and the rest of the Limers began their racing career in the Syndesmarble, a yearly ancient marble racing competition in the city of Sotsevsa. One year, the Limers performed so well that they caught the attention of Greg Woods. Woods invited them to join the Fruit Circuit and they accepted. They started touring with the Fruit Circuit in 2004. They were eventually joined by fellow Marble League teams the O'rangers, the Raspberry Racers and Mellow Yellow. The Limers became rivals with the Raspberry Races due to their geographic proximity and contrasting colors.
When Marble League 2016 was announced, the Fruit Circuit were offered three places. The Limers ultimately won the 2015 Fruit Circuit and qualified for Marble League 2016 along with the O'rangers and Mellow Yellow, leaving the Raspberry Racers behind.
The Limers came in to Marble League 2016 with high hopes. However, the team had a mediocre performance, gaining only two points in the first half of the competition from the second event, the Relay Race. In this time, Jellime came 9th in the Long Jump. They managed to gain points in all but two of the second half events including a bronze medal in Event 11, Quartet Diving. This was not enough, with the team coming 15th overall, only avoiding coming joint last with the Pinkies because of their disqualification in Event 12, Hurdles. The Limers felt that the points system was too heavily weighted towards gaining medals, punishing lower placing teams. They appealed to Jelle and the points system was changed for the following Marble League.
The Limers returned to Tartufo and built a training center outside the city and started a rigorous training regime on the cliffs. Jellime left the team to become an adviser to the Syndesmarble and was replaced by Goolime.
The Limers entered the bid to host Marble League 2019 and were helped by Jellime and the whole Syndesmarble advisory board, but they were not selected.[1]
