The Hubelino Tournament is a competition featuring 8 teams competing on tracks made out of Hubelino pieces.
Overview[]
The original Hubelino Tournament series featured a total of eight original teams, unrelated to the Marble League, and a total of eight events. The marbles used in the original series had a diameter of 22 mm, slightly smaller than their Marble Rally counterparts (24 mm), but considerably larger than their Marble League counterparts (16 mm).
The first tournament commenced in 2016, around two-and-a-half months after the conclusion of Marble League 2016, and was initially contested over eight events, with the final event offering double points. However, due to viewer demands, the tournament was extended for four more events and the double points from the eighth event were cancelled. The tournament concluded in late 2017 and was won by the Green Gang.
The second tournament, and the last of the original series, commenced in 2018, over five months after the conclusion of Marble League 2018. A new team, the Bumblebees, took the place of Team Phoenix, who retired from marble sports beforehand. The tournament was marked by a surprise disappointment for the defending champions, the Green Gang, who performed poorly throughout the tournament, as they failed to score a single top-half finish and stayed at the bottom of the standings. Meanwhile, the Bumblebees emerged as the tournament champions following their comeback with two consecutive gold medals.
The original tournament series was discontinued at the end of 2018 after having run two seasons due to insufficient viewership. All of the teams that competed in the 2018 tournament announced their retirement. The top two teams of that tournament, the Bumblebees and the Minty Maniacs, were later invited to the Marble League to participate in the tournament series' first ever Showdown in 2019.
A revival was announced in 2025 via the channel banner at the conclusion of the 2025 Dutch Grand Prix Prediction Race. Unlike in the original tournament series, the revival tournament featured eight teams from the Marble League. Consequently, the tournament used the 16 mm marbles from the Marble League. Apart from these changes, the tournament ran similarly to its original counterpart. The Black Jacks won the tournament with three gold medals to their name, despite starting off poorly. With this, they had also broken the various records set during the original tournament series' run.
