Cobra is a green and black marble, hailing from the African village of Chi, who competes in the Marble Rally. They were named after the cobras indigenous to the local forests.[1] Cobra has never had a good standing throughout their marble racing career, as seen by their inconsistent performances. However, they did qualify for Marble Rally 2019, and, perhaps due to their determination, were once again cleared to compete in the Marble Rally Season 5, despite finishing 17th in 2019. They backed up their inclusion into the competition by taking their first career win in the fourth race of Season 5.

History
2016
Cobra had a poor season, failing to score a single point up until Race 5. In Race 6, the race where the bottom 13 marbles were eliminated, they finished second and got 25 points. This elevated them to finish 27th overall in Sand Marble Rally 2016, but they were still eliminated after Race 6. They were behind Mocha Madness and ahead of Oddball.
2017
Cobra did not qualify Sand Marble Rally 2017, as they crashed after leading in their qualifier race.
2018
Cobra once again failed to qualify for Sand Marble Rally 2018. They earned 24 points and finished 7th overall in the B-League, in front of Green Turtle and behind El Capitan. Cobra suffered the only DNF of the B-League that season.
2019
In 2019, Cobra qualified for Marble Rally 2019. They didn't have a great season with quite a few low finishes, but they also had two top four finishes, one of a which was a podium finish. However, their inconsistency, along with two non-scores in the final two races saw them finish 17th, tied with Marbly McMarbleface on 32 points.
2020
Due to their low finish in 2019, Cobra was to be relegated to the 2020 Showdown. Fortunately, a sudden announcement from the JMRC saved them. Cobra was invited to take part in the Marble Rally Season 5 after the cancellation of the Qualifiers.[1]
