Bolt is a current member of the Thunderbolts that joined in 2019. They are the most successful athlete in the history of the Thunderbolts, as they won a combined 4 medals across all major competitions, all of which came in Marbula One.
Hailing from Thorston, Bolt is the cousin of previous Thunderbolts member, Bolty. Bolt was recruited by the Thunderbolts coach and manager, Thunderstorm, after the previous roster retired. Alongside Bolt, Thunder, Lightning, Shock, and Zap were also recruited as all five were trainers working for Thunderstorm.
During Marble League 2019, Bolt competed in the 5 Meter Sprint, the Hurdles Race, and the Sand Rally for their team. The Thunderbolts finished 13th overall, a poor first impression for the new members of the team.
In November 2019, the Thunderbolts were revealed to be participating in Marbula One Season 1 , with Shock and Bolt representing them. At the Greenstone Grand Prix, Bolt finished second behind Orangin of the O'rangers, marking their best performance. They also set the fastest lap there, and net the team 19 points overall.
Marble League Winter Special
In the Marble League Winter Special, the Thunderbolts started in the worst way possible, as Shock finished dead last. This would be an unfortunate moment of foreshadowing for the Bolts. However, Bolt would bounce back immediately, qualifying for the finals in the Snowboard Cross. In the finals, Bolt ran in 3rd out of 4, before taking the lead. However, Aqua, by five thousandths of a second, would take away Bolt's first career win. However, Thunder would win the Speed Skating, and get the Thunderbolts up to second. However, a disappointing Bobsled put them 12 back of the Oceanics for the championship, but still in second. At the Ice Hockey, the Oceanics were stunned in the first round. It was now the Thunderbolts title to lose. However, they lost in heartbreaking fashion to the Snowballs, as the game tying goal fell inches short. The Thunderbolts would fall to 5th. Still, it was a great showing, and this game the Thunderbolts momentum.
Marbula One Season 2
Bolt was selected for the second season of Marbula One. At the O'raceway Grand Prix, Bolt qualified in 8th, but fell down the order early on. They eventually managed to recover and climb their way back to ninth place, setting the fastest lap in the process.
At the Aquamaring, Bolt qualified in 4th, and led the race from lap 6 to lap 10. However, Red Eye from the Crazy Cat's Eyes managed to pass Bolt coming down the back straight, demoting them to second place. Bolt briefly held first again, but contact with the inside wall put them back into second, where they would eventually finish at. To add insult to injury, Red Eye managed to set the fastest lap and eventually claimed the victory.
Bolt raced at the very next race at the Tumult Turnpike and managed to claim pole, and got an extra point. At they start, Limelime from the Limers, a team often associated with poor performances, managed to pass them at the start. However, a loss of speed for Limelime meant Bolt reclaimed the first spot. Yellow Eye from the Crazy Cat's Eyes managed to pass them on the second lap. On the fourth lap, Bolt had a better exit out of the banked turn and was promoted back into first. Yellow Eye briefly took it back, but was overtaken once again. After a few challenges from Yellow Eye and and Limelime, Limelime was finally able to overtake them again with a better exit off the conveyor belt. Bolt retook the lead, but Hazy, who started from 11th, managed to overtake them on the penultimate lap and went on to claim a memorable victory for the Hazers. They managed to salvage 21 points due to their pole position.
In the second half of the second season of Marbula One, at the Raceforest Bolt qualified in a lowly 7th . Bolt was in the top 5 for the majority of the race, battling with Pulsar of Team Galactic, Yellup from Mellow Yellow, Snowstorm from the Snowballs, Ocean from the Oceanics and Wospy from the Midnight Wisps. With their bronze medal in the race, they were one of two marbles to earn four medals in Marbula One, along with Speedy from the Savage Speeders, who achieved this feat in the same race as Bolt with their silver medal there. They left the race in second on the individual standings, but being overtaken by Yellow Eye in the next race, and dropped to third, ahead of Speedy.
At the Palette Park Grand Prix, Bolt qualified in an unexpected 14th place. However, their rival and leader in the individual standings, Red Eye, only qualified in 15th. Bolt recovered into 10th briefly, but fell to last place. Then, like the O'raceway Grand Prix, Bolt set the fastest lap and started to making gains lap after lap. At one point, they were in seventh. However, Wospy managed to reset the fastest lap on Lap 21, and went on to claim an fairy tale last-to-first victory, while Speedy, managed to become the first marble to reach five Marbula One podiums with their silver, and retook third in the individual championship. With their ninth place finish, Bolt dropped to fourth, and made theirs of winning the individual championship slightly slimmer, being 12 points behind Red Eye, who did not score in the race. In the team championship, they were now 69 points behind the Crazy Cat's Eyes, just 6 points off 4th place Team Momo. However, Shock would DNQ at the Misty Mountain, ending the Thunderbolts title hoped. While Shock would qualify fifth, and finish 7th, Bolt had a massive collapse at the Midnight Bay, DNQing to end the season. The Thunderbolts finished in 6th.
